Tamil Nadu govt announces Rs 25 lakh compensation to kin of 43 doctors who died of COVID

As the country fights against the deadly coronavirus, many COVID warriors have lost their lives while trying to protect others. The Tamil Nadu government has announced Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia for the families of 43 doctors who lost their lives due to COVID related duty. Chief Minister MK Stalin also announced incentives to front-line workers including doctors, nurses and paramedics and other staff members who are involved in COVID duty for the month of April, May and June.
